    Three ice cream games

    • Scoop-shop dare: everyone spins once and orders what lands, no swaps. Agree beforehand that a sorbet counts.
    • Blind taste test: an adult buys four small tubs, spins to choose which one each child tastes blindfolded, and they guess the flavor. Works from about age five.
    • Double scoop: spin twice with Remove the winner after each spin on, and eat the two flavors together. Some combos are surprisingly good (mango and coconut, coffee and dulce de leche).

    Home sundae bar

    1. Put out two or three tubs and delete every other flavor from the wheel, so each spin is one you actually have.
    2. Make a second wheel of toppings: sprinkles, hot fudge, crushed cookies, banana slices, whipped cream, a cherry. Save it in My wheels.
    3. Each guest spins one flavor and two toppings. Take the tubs out of the freezer ten minutes early so they scoop.

    Make it yours

Shops rotate flavors, so the best list is the one on the board in front of you. Type them in while you wait in line. Put rare favorites in with a weight, like “Pistachio *2”, or use “*0” for a flavor someone in the family cannot eat.

Ube is a purple yam used in Filipino desserts, and stracciatella is vanilla-style ice cream with fine shards of chocolate, in case either is new to you.

    Questions and answers

Is there a dairy-free option on the wheel?

The two sorbets are usually dairy-free, and mango or coconut often come in vegan versions. Check the label or ask at the counter, then remove anything that does not fit.

Can I make a wheel for one shop’s menu?

Yes. Clear the box, type their flavors one per line, and save it in My wheels. Share link sends the same list to friends meeting you there.

What goes with a spin for dessert?

The dessert wheel covers baked and chilled desserts. Spin there first; if it lands on a sundae or banana split, come back here for the flavor.
